In 2016, I built my first HyperCube. In 2018, I rebuilt my second HyperCube using parts from an old Mendel90. Since that time, the printers have worn out. I think they each printed over 4000 hours.
I wanted to buy a new one or remake an old one. I didn’t want to throw away the old working parts, so I decided to assemble new ones from old parts, replacing the cylindrical guides with MGN-type linear guides.
Because I didn't find any guides on the internet to convert my old HyperCube, I had to design a new one.
For the basic frame, I decided to use the CoreXY Frame (v.2.0). I liked that the construction is quite easy to maintain and adjust during assembly.
Let’s see how long it takes.
